Just wondering if some of you guys in the business, could give a guy considering this line of work some tips on how to succeed.
Have interviewed with several Insurance companies, from Multi line agencies as well as some other limited lines, life, health, LTC etc. This includes Bankers, which seems to get reviews on both ends of the spectrum here.
I really like the senior market, I enjoy talking with that age of people and would enjoy selling a product that is truly beneficial to someone that needs it.
This is a career change for me, Age 39, small pension from my previous employment that will pay at least the mortgage and buy groceries.
I'm very organized, detail oriented and like people.
So, what is it that made this career choice a success? What tidbit of information did you find that made it click? How long did it take? What would you do different?
