Also, you are only talking $100 difference in premium. So it's not that much difference. For the dollars involved, it's almost a flip a coin situation. Either one would be fine.

Arlene, "In Arizona, however, with the AARP Genworth My Choice Shared Plan, one is required to leave 2 years in the other's plan when the other party taps into the other's plan".
This true in most states.
Keep in mind, what you're really paying for is the benefit account (pool of money). The higher the pool, the higher the premium. The higher the Pool, the better the policy.
At the end of the day, you'll balance the Pool vs your annual premium.
As Bill says, choose benefits & a premium you're comfortable with and move on. Arthur

Gentlemen,
Our Genworth agent is coming over tomorrow afternoon to bring us our Certificate and a change form for any changes that we want. We are leaning toward the Shared My Choice Plan with a Monthly Maximum of $4,000.00, Benefit Multiplier of 4 years each so one could have 6 years coverage, if needed, and a Pool of Money of $192.000,00. Thank you so much for all your imput.
Arlene & Ray
