I am at the end of my lookover period and have to make a decision. I am 56 living in a suburb of NYC. It is between the 3/6/50 and the 4/4/100 partnership plans with Genworth. The difference in cost is about $620. Have there been more rate increases on existing 4/4/100 plans or on 3/6/50 plans? My concern is that a rate increase on a high dollar amount will obviously be higher than on a smaller dollar amount. Would you say the 4/4 plan is worth the difference in cost? Any advice is appreciated.

As discussed in earlier posts, the 4/4/100 is a better policy. If the extra $620/year does not change your lifestyle, keep it.

No one can predict a future rate increase with any carrier.
